Positive morning:

Stretches:

Do some stretches and joint rotation on your bed for healthy lifestyle. Since we are lying down for 6 to 7 hours at night, our muscles are very tight and stiff. Our body feels low, and our mind is also not alert enough at this stage. For example, Tadasana (Mountain pose), Yastikasana, Supta Vakrasana, Tiryaka Tadasana. Doing stretches have a lot of benefits for healthy lifestyle such as:

  • Increase in blood circulation.  
  • Increase your energy level.  
  • Remove all the tension in your muscles.  
  • Your joints will become free.  
  • Prepare your body for the day ahead.  

Water intake:

Drink lukewarm Water/ have a cup of herbal tea with ginger, cinnamon and lemon. This will help in cleansing of your digestive system, flush out toxins from the body and improve digestion and metabolism. It helps in treating even chronic constipation and also helps in weight and fat loss.

But some people might not be able to even digest lukewarm water, they might feel gastric trouble, indigestion and bloating. Such people should avoid lukewarm water and drink normal water or herbal tea and start their day. Do not take Tea/Coffee on an empty stomach, they are acidic in nature, can interrupt your digestion and cause hyperacidity and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Ideal time for drinking Tea or Coffee is one hour after breakfast.

Alkaline body:

Take Wheat grass powder (Magic drink). Mix it with water (lukewarm) and enjoy it and if possible, drink early morning empty stomach. It contains chlorophyll, vitamins, minerals, amino-acids and enzymes. It has lots of benefits like: Improve digestion, regulate blood circulation, helps in weight loss and boost Immune system

Move your body:

Go for a walk, do sun salutation and yogasana. This will strengthen your entire body. It relieves constipation and promotes healthy digestion. It also stimulates all the systems of your body, promotes weight and fat loss. It will also provide a beautiful glow to the skin. Doing this will improve physical and mental health. In summary, these activities will develop patience and build stamina, improve flexibility and release stiffness of the body. In addition, For Exercise lovers, you can go to the Gym and do some weightlifting to build muscle mass. Some of the benefits of this include:

  • Fight Osteoporosis  
  • Better blood sugar control

Tips for Females:

You will not get bulky, stop fearing the weight lifting, this is not going to turn you into a muscle-bound freak. I assure all the females that lifting weights and eating a healthy diet will result in a fit and lean body, not a big and bulky one.

Breakfast:

Breakfast is a very essential meal of the day for healthy lifestyle. Eat fruit, soaked nuts and seeds, Protein rich breakfast. Fruits contain fructose which gives you a kickstart in the morning. In addition, Nuts and seeds contain vitamins and minerals and omega-3 fatty acids that increase your brain concentration level and productivity level. You can have 4 almonds, and 1 walnut soaked overnight. Seeds like flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and chia seeds can be taken. Moreover, Take Protein rich breakfast as proteins provide the building blocks of the cells, increase satiety level and appetite suppressant. It will also decrease your food cravings like sugar. In short, increase leptin hormone (satiety hormone) and decrease ghrelin hormone (appetizer).

Make a To-Do List.

During the day, we have to accomplish so many tasks, hence maintaining a to-do list diary is recommended. Our brain loves ordered tasks, which increases productivity and provides motivation to complete the task. 

Have your dinner early:

Food that we intake takes 2 to 3 hours for digestion. Eating dinner early gives our body time for digestion, regulate our insulin levels. We will be able to lose weight easily. Our body feels light and less fatigued.
