Over consumption of caffeine can lead to exhaustion of the adrenal gland which leads to health problems.

Study has revealed that there are 270 million people in India who consume tobacco. India is the second largest country in the world in terms of tobacco consumption. Tobacco is a plant grown for its leaves, which are dried and fermented before putting it into tobacco products.

Tobacco contains Nicotine, which leads to addiction. People consume tobacco by either chewing it or smoking. Smoked tobacco products are cigarettes, cigars, bidis. Some people also smoke loose tobacco in a pipe or hookah.

Repeated usage of painkillers, cold and flu tablets can cause stomach irritation, ulcers and IBS(Irritable Bowel Syndrome).

  2. 20 minutes: Then after, The blood sugar spikes causing an insulin burst and our liver responds by turning any sugar it can get into fat.
  3. 40 minutes: Caffeine absorption is complete. Our Blood Pressure rises because of excess sugar in the bloodstream. Adenosine receptors in the brain are blocked and we feel pleasurable.
  4. 45 minutes: In addition, Our body increases dopamine production which stimulates the “brain reward system”, drugs and alcohol work in similar ways.
  5. 50 minutes: Phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc, providing metabolism boost. High compounds of sugar and sweeteners increase urinary excretion of calcium.
  6. 60 minutes: Caffeine’s diuretic property starts playing its role and we excrete bonded calcium, magnesium and zinc.

At the end, we will start to have a sugar crash. We may become irritable. Over a period of time these soft drinks could be addictive.

Today’s generation as well as the next generation is rapidly moving towards this addiction. Hence, replacing soft drinks with fruit juices is the master key for maintaining a healthy body and brain.
